Hello everybody! 
I bought this eye pencil for variety in my collection as I really liked its deep blue color. And, by the way, I always wanted to use a bright eye pencil to define my waterline.
Recently I attended makeup courses where I actually met a girl who looked really unusual and hipster-like so I had a huge desire to try out the blue smokey eye makeup on her. And of course I used my new Master Drama eye pencil as a base color all over her lids. Later I’ll tell and show you the outcome of this experiment but now I want to describe the eye pencil itself.
The outer appearance:
This is an eye pencil (as Maybelline states) from the Master Drama collection. The Maybelline also has the Master Smoky eyeliner but I’ve tried it once and I don’t even want to use it ever again.
The weight of the contents is 1g. The color is very beautiful. It’s called Blue Electrique and I can see that it’s infused with a small shimmer.
Using the product I found out that it wasn’t actually easy to work with. The color is gorgeous, it’s true, though the consistency is so greasy that it literally starts melting on the skin and quickly creases.
If you layer the product you’ll get a very deep and intense dark shade, while blending it out you’ll see a very gentle light blue color. This pencil is great as an eyeshadow primer, because any eyeshadows always apply well over the Master Drama Khol Eyeliner.
I wouldn’t recommend you apply this product on your waterline as it’ll budge straight away.
General characteristics of the Master Drama Pencil:
soft nib
it gives a thick and precise line
the product is plastic and it’s easy to sharpen
it doesn’t work as an accent shade on the waterline
easy to blend
it can be a little dusty and imprint on the lids, so it’s better to set it with eyeshadows
Here’s the smokey eye makeup that I did using this Master Drama Eye Pencil.
Overall I want to say that there are so many eye pencils that we need and I believe that any pencil can be tamed if you know its peculiarities and issues. In general, now you know its characteristics, so you can decide yourself whether you need this Master Drama Khol Eye Pencil or not. As for me, I’ve found a better eye pencil than this one which I’m going to review very soon.
