Greetings to those reading this review!
I love cat eyes so much. But unfortunately as I get older, it’s getting hard to apply winged eyeliner evenly, since the skin on my eyelids loses its elasticity. My once favorite liquid liners with felt tips leave gaps on the skin, unless I stretch my eyelid. And I don’t want to stretch the aging skin, you know.
So, when I was wondering about an alternative, I came across the pretty new class of eyeliner pens with brush tips. The most popular one was the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner. But its price tag was about $20, and I didn’t know whether I would like the product or not.
And then another product drew my attention, namely the Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum from the famous ‘green’ brand Physician's Formula.
The price was 9.63$
It’s available in two colors: Black and Brown
I didn’t want to wait for an online order. I wanted to try it out here and now.
That’s why I made my way to the nearest Walmart. Alas there were only brown eyeliners left, but it didn’t stop me.
The description says the eyeliner should last 24h, and that’s true...If you don’t cry or rub your eyes, you can wake up with your eyeliner still in its place. The line will fade a bit, but that is not especially eye-catching. I know it’s bad to fall asleep with my war paint on, but I do it quite often. The next claim is that:
After 4 weeks, over 90% of women saw more luscious, glamorous & defined lashes
I haven’t seen any long lashes neither after a month nor after almost a year. They don’t fall out, and thanks for that, by the way.
But every time I fall asleep with my eye makeup on, I comfort myself with the thought that it’s supposed to benefit my lashes:)
Ingredients:
Packaging: half-transparent plastic box with all the necessary information on it
Inside there is a silver-colored eyeliner pen with a
brush tip.
The brush consists of countless elastic hairs. They say it resembles a brush pen for Japanese calligraphy.
It applies the eyeliner evenly, without gaps and patches, even on my ‘I’m in my thirties’ skin.
The brush doesn’t stretch my skin at all.
It can draw a very precise winged eyeliner.
You can easily vary the thickness of your line and draw either a thin line in between the lashes or a long ‘Cupid’s arrow’.
It’s a real pleasure to create a cat eye look with this eyeliner. It’s almost like it draws itself. A perfect product for newbies. The color is rich brown.
But you never know it’s brown if you look at my eyes from a distance.
Everyone who saw me with this eyeliner thought it was black
The eyeliner must be shaken before use.
In order to prevent the product from drying out, the cap must be pressed until it clicks.
I’m more than satisfied with this eyeliner. I’ve been using it for almost a year now, but it applies just as well as it did the day I bought it. It causes no allergy or irritation, even when it gets right in the eyes.
Make up removing
It can be effortlessly removed with water, so I don’t recommend weeping when you’re wearing it.
Now I have one more eyeliner (this time black) with the same kind of brush tip from the famous blogger and co-founder of Ipsy, Michelle Phan. Once again, it proved that eyeliner pens of this type will stay with me for a long time.I can recommend this eyeliner both for makeup newbies and for those who create cat eyes like a pro.
See you in my next reviews!
