Tarte products are cruelty-free and of great quality, so I love it.

Today I’m bringing you a review of a foundation very popular among beauty bloggers.

Let me start off by talking about the bad, which is the packaging. It is awful, inconvenient and messy. To cut a long story short, it is a weighty jar with a thick bottom and a protective tab. After the first use the jar would never be clean again. The product leaks and makes everything messy, although I do not turn it upside-down and keep in always on my dressing table. So, the jar is not travel-friendly…

If you’ve decided to read on, I’ll tell you that the packaging is the only con here and I’m not going to give it less stars, as the product is perfect in all respects.

Shade: Fair-Light Neutral: The name speaks for itself.

The color range is quite big and has quite a range of undertones, so everyone finds the right shade.

The texture is thick and somewhat heavy. I worried that the foundation would look like a mask on me, but luckily, it didn’t.

The product is highly concentrated, so a teeny amount is enough to get a full coverage.

I apply the foundation with dots and blend it out with a brush. I wouldn’t recommend doing it with your fingers. It doesn’t work.

After applying I understood why the beauty bloggers loved it. The product covers up all skin imperfections and gives a gorgeous satin finish. Look at my chin in the picture.

Moreover, it gives a natural glow. It neither emphasizes peeling nor clogs my pores. I don’t feel it on my face and the product is undetectable in general.Good job!

The most important thing is that it can be layered without looking like a mask. The foundation creates kind of a blank canvas for your makeup.

My skin with a daytime cream:

Tarte Empowered Hybrid Gel Foundation:

Total look:

The foundation stays put till I remove it in the evening. It doesn’t flow or crease.

Whom does it suit: it’s good for girls with dry, normal and combination skin. The foundation is amazing and it won’t let you down even when your skin looks bad.

The product is a real go-to.
