Hello pretties!
I keep on looking through my lip gloss collection, which consists most of all of nude shades, as you’ve already noticed.
Today I’ll talk about one more fave of mine, which is the Tarte Tarteist Glossy Lip Paint.
I have it as a mini sample but I know that it looks almost identical to the full-size.
The same plastic package with a transparent tube bottom and a golden top cap. All the lettering is good quality and it never wipes off.
Size - 1ml (mini) and 6ml (full size).
Made in Italy.
Shelf life - 12 months of opening.
The lip gloss has gel-cream consistency, which is rather thick and gooey but it still feels really comfortable during application and wear. The color coverage is nice, that’s why they even call this Tarte Tarteist Glossy Lip Paint a liquid lacquer lipstick. But still, in my book, liquid lacquer lipsticks offer more opaque coverage, that’s why this product is just a fine lip gloss with a good coverage for me.
The tacky sensation is bearable and absolutely normal. The product doesn’t bleed or feather and it never creases on my inner lip. In general, I appreciate its performance on my lips throughout the day.
The longevity is for 3-4 hours. Later the product completely fades from my lips leaving my lips soft and moisturized.
The Tarte Tarteist Glossy Lip Paint collection offers nude as well as vibrant shades. I have mine in a muted ash rose Goals color.
Macro shots reveal minor setting into lip fine lines but in real life, it’ll be visible only if you stare too close. It applies so nicely for a nude lip gloss, you know.
For me, the Tarte Tarteist Glossy Lip Paint is ideal all over - starting from a formula and finishing with the color. I have nothing to be picky about. As soon as I finish some other lip gloss from my arsenal, I’ll immediately buy one from this collection, but more cool-toned.
Price - $20 (on the official site).
I received a mini as a present for purchases.
