I always have a can of thermal water in my purse. And this year I decided to give a go to the very hyped Grape water by Caudalie.

The can looks pleasant and very Caudalie-like. As usual there is a grape bunch imprinted, as all the Caudalie products are grape water based.
In fact this brand is organic, as their products are paraben, sulfates and phthalates free.
Ingredients:
vitis vinifera (grape) fruit water, vitisvinifera (grape) juice, nitrogen
They advice to store the water in the fridge.
The spray pump is good and works without fails. Pressing the spray you can control the amount of water coming out. The water comes out with microdrops. You can even spray it over your makeup and be sure that it won’t glide off.
Some of the obvious pros of the product: a little goes a long way. I was using the 75ml bottle the whole summer and I was using it a lot and it's still not empty.
Water-like consistency isn’t sticky, oily or shiny. It smells like grape juice. And I have to confess that I didn’t like its smell, as for me it smells like a little bit bad or rotten grapes. I wish the product was neutral scented.
How to use this grape water?
- take it with you on holiday
- put it in your purse when it’s hot
- place it on your office table and use it once you feel tired and need some distraction
- damp a cotton pad with this water and swipe your face with it when you want to wash your face but there’s no chance to do it
- spay it when it’s stuffy or if you are on board of a plane (the 75ml size is fine to take on board).
Result:
For a few weeks in summer I was using only this water and no other moisturizing product like cream, gel or lotion. And soon I noticed that my skin started to flake off and I could find a few creases on it, which are the first signs of early wrinkles. Then I quickly added some moisturizing products by Caudalie as well into my skin care routine and the situation has changed dramatically. I can see that any cream sinks in better if I apply it over the Grape Water.
CAUDALIE Eau de raisin Grape Water is an additional product for me in taking care of my skin. Don’t expect too much from it and you’ll see the result. The water works well and neutralizes small flaking and refreshes my skin, giving it moisture. It was surprising for me but the water mattifies my skin and I like it!
All in all I like this Grape water!

If only it hadn’t smelled like a rotten grape, I would have loved it forever!
