Pros: doesn't irritate my eyes, everyday wear, good range of shades
Cons: bad pigmented, dusty

Sometimes I think that even if I had a thousand eyeshadow palettes I still would have liked to buy and try out one more. Smile I’m always attracted by nude shades. I’m positive about the Revlon cosmetics in general and appreciate their quality.

So, Revlon ColorStay 16 Hour Quad is an eyeshadow palette that consists of 4 shades:

1st: It’s white with big silver shimmer particles. The shade is chalky and badly pigmented. It looks almost transparent on my eyes. Most frequently I use it in the inner corners.

2nd: A golden beige shade which looks frosty. It isn’t badly pigmented. Most of all I use it on the mobile eyelid or for blending.

3rd: It’s a complicated color that can be described as red-brown-gray-ish hue. Very beautiful, especially if applied with wet technique. I use it all over the mobile lid and also to darken the crease.

4th: Dark brown and gray color with good pigmentation. It’s dusty to some extent. It applies well with no patches or color breakdown. It suits for darkening the outer corners and for lining the lashline.

All the shades are effortless in blending.

In the photo I applied the shades without a primer (the upper row) and with it (lower row).

Longevity: I never miss out using primer in my eye makeup. And over the primer these shades last 12 hours minimum. Smile

And now let’s look at the product in action. A photo before (I only filled in my eyebrows here)

Entire look Smile With two different eyes. SmileOn the left, the shades are less intense and bright, while on the right vice versa. The formula of the products is buildable so you can vary the intensity. I used #3 and #4.

First look:

With a liner and green eye pencil:

And the second look in the sun for you to see the delicate shine of the products:

I like using dark shades in my eye makeup so I added 3 more shades to my left eye (right for you) with a wet technique. Do you see that beautiful metallic sheen in the middle of my eyelid? I also decided to add eyeliner for a bolder look.

Overall I want to say that this Revlon ColorStay 16 hour Quad Eyeshadow Palette is wonderful! The shades are harmoniously chosen and I use them everyday which hardly ever happens to me and any other eyeshadow palette Smile

Price: $7.85

Time of use: 3.5 months

I took away one star for bad pigmentation of some of the shades and for them being dusty.

Do I recommend? Certainly I do!
